Strategy & Operations Manager

Buildforce is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to work closely with our CEO and Head of Operations. This role is designed to help keep the Buildforce train running on time. That means being flexible enough to spend time deep in the weeds on our day-to-day operations, as well as zooming out to work on strategic projects. This role is designed for interdisciplinary thinkers with an inclination towards process implementation, quantitative analysis, and creative problem-solving.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with product, sales, and operations to develop playbooks for expansion and operational processes
  • Own FP&A and KPI reporting for the company
  • Prepare materials for quarterly board meetings
  • Manage invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Help lead the hiring process for new Buildforce team members
  • Implement and maintain Business Intelligence tools

Job requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in consulting, investment banking, or venture-backed startup growth/strategy/operations
  • Aptitude for financial modeling and metrics tracking
  • Experience creating and implementing business processes and playbooks
  • Ability to write SQL queries
